Meet the team

Mechanical engineer with an interdisciplinary MSc/MA, Julian brings a cross-sector perspective spanning marketing, agriculture, and machinery design. With experience managing projects for global brands, he leads Ponda’s strategy, fundraising, and growth—scaling the team and securing multiple investment rounds. Educated at the University of Sheffield and Imperial College London.

With a background in chemistry and materials science, Finlay leads Ponda’s technology development. He has driven the creation of a first-of-its-kind material and advanced the scientific understanding of typha under paludiculture conditions. Holds degrees from the University of St Andrews and Imperial College London.

Nelly combines experience in fashion, next-generation materials, and social innovation to design Ponda’s regenerative supply chain. She focuses on building strong client relationships and ensuring traceable impact across the value chain. Educated at Parsons and Imperial College London.

Antonia leads creative and product development, specializing in garment construction, material performance, and supply chain integration. Her background in innovation consultancy informs a holistic product approach. Studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Royal College of Art / Imperial College London.
